Come aboard to experience the best SCUBA diving in Hawaii and enjoy a personal approach to diving the crystal clear turquoise waters off the Kona Coast on the Big Island of Hawaii. Our certified PADI Instructors/Dive Masters will guide you through two dives at two different sites. There are over 60 dive sites to choose from, so request what you are most interested in seeing –marine preserve, lava tubes, turtle cleaning station, etc. Certified Divers, Discover SCUBA Diving Introductory Divers, SCUBA Refresher Divers, and Snorkelers are all welcome!

All diver options will be on the same charter.
All dive levels welcome and will be lead by our best
PADI divemasters & dive instructors.
All divers and snorkelers must know how to swim.
Attention Divers! Altitude Restrictions:
All divers must wait 18-24 hours before traveling to elevations above 2,000ft after diving. This includes any type of flying, visiting Hilo, National Volcano Park, and Mauna Kea. Please double check the elevation levels of of your accommodates and anywhere you plan to visit during your stay on the Big Island.
DIVING REQUIREMENTS
O.W. Certified Diver Requirements
❗Divers must have at least 18 hours after diving before flying or going above 2000ft elevation.
(This includes traveling to Mauna Kea, Saddle Rd., Volcano Natl. Park, driving to HILO, helicopter tours, & flights.) Going to high altitude/elevation after diving is unsafe due to the risk of decompression illness.
❗The diver weight limit is 280 lbs.
✔︎ All divers must be at least open-water certified.
✔︎ Minors must be accompanied by a guardian at all times.
✔︎ Jr Divers must be 12 years & up due to the depth range of the dive. Due to the 40ft depth restriction: "Scuba Divers" & 10-11-year-old Jr divers cannot dive this charter.
Discover Scuba Diver Requirements
✔︎ Discover Scuba Divers must know how to swim 100 yards unassisted.
✔︎ Discover Scuba Divers must be 10 years or older.
✔︎ All DSDs must complete a PADI Medical form & the PADI eLearning 48 hours before charter’s check-in time. The link will be listed in your confirmation email.

Charter Itinerary
Check-in with our crew at 8:30am
(we highly recommend following the directions in your confirmation email.)
As we depart, our team & all guests will pick the dive sites for the day.
We’ll dive at the first site,
resurface for lunch,
and travel to the 2nd location.
Pools open! We’ll dive at the 2nd dive site.
Typically, we are back at the harbor around 1pm

Our Policies
Cancellation Policy
Reservations may be canceled up to 48 hours prior to departure for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours of departure will be charged full price. This also includes making any changes to the booking. Guests arriving LATER THAN 5 minutes after the check-in time will be forfeited and not refunded. If canceled within 48 hours or not present at check-in, the return trip will be considered redeemed and cannot be rescheduled.
Charter Safety
Regulations
In the event of unsafe weather or high surf conditions, our captains will assess the conditions and make the final decision. A scheduled charter may have to be canceled if the conditions are unsafe. We will reach out to all parties & offer a chance to reschedule or a full refund.
Check-in Time Policy
It is all parties' responsibility to arrive on time for their charters. Our EcoAdventures check in at the Honokohau Marina & Small Boat Harbor. The check-in time is listed above by the date of the charter. Please arrive at the harbor with enough time to park, gather your items, and walk over to our Slip C-01.
Please be present to check in with our Team members NO LATER THAN 5 minutes after the above check-in time. If you are not present your tour will be subject to be forfeited.
Taxes &
Fees
All EcoAdventures will be charged Sales Tax (4.7120%), Harbor Use Fee (3%) & Online Booking Fee (5%). All major credit cards are accepted. Prices are subject to change.
Trip Protection
Purchasing Trip Protection allows you to cancel or reschedule your tour at any time for any reason up to 24 hours before the tour start time. You will be reimbursed for the full amount of each ticket, less the cost of trip protection and processing fees. No-shows will not be reimbursed. Parties arriving LATER THAN 5 minutes after the charter’s check-in time will be forfeited and not reimbursed.
*Trip Protection is not available to students or DSDs.
Charter Minimum
Guest Requirement
This charter requires a minimum of 4 guests booked to run. Charter minimums are at the company’s discretion based on guests necessities and the makeup of the charter.
If we have to make any changes we will contact all guests as soon as possible via phone, text, and email.

Minimum
A minimum of 2 DSDs are required for the option to run. Charter minimums are at the company's discretion based on guests' necessities and the makeup of the charter
No Alcohol Policy
We have a strict policy against drinking alcohol before and during our EcoAdventures.
❗We reserve the right to refuse service, with no refund, if you have booked and have ignored our expected safety standards outlined on our website and during the reservation process. We reserve the right to refuse service if we feel it is unsafe for you to participate in this activity for any reason. Our #1 priority is safety for all our guests and crew.

Frequently Asked Questions
When should I book my reservation?
We recommend booking at least 1 to 2 weeks BEFORE your desired date. We’d also recommend booking your dives in the early days of yours stay to avoid any elevation restrictions.
I rented dive gear do I need to arrive earlier than the check-in time?
No, please arrive at 8:30am at our check in spot. We will pull the gear based on the heights and weights provided in the reservations.
Is there an age limit for Discover Scuba Divers?
Yes, a Discover Scuba Diver must be 10 years old and older. All minors must be accompanied with a guardian at all times.
Do Discover Scuba Divers have to know how to swim?
Yes, even though DSDs will be led by a professional PADI Dive Instructor, all must know how to swim as diving is an advanced recreational activity.
I forgot my dive card, what can I do?
If you are a PADI-certified diver you may obtain an e-card immediately from the PADI website. If you are a certified diver with SSI, SDI, or NAUI you can verify your certification by going to their websites. Please show it to our divemaster at check-in with a photo ID. If you need assistance call us as soon as possible.
Which gear items are included for divers?
We provide 3mm full wetsuits, tanks, weights, masks, and fins. The following items are available for rent per diver: BCD - $20 and a regulator with dive computer - $20
What can I see on this dive charter?
We are super lucky to have over 60 dive sites in the Kona area to visit, ranging from lively reefs, lava tubes, and tons of marine life! We will go to 2 different sites for the day.
The Divemasters for the charter will ask all guests onboard what they are interested in seeing and pick the best sites to go to for the day.
I am Nitrox certified, can I add Nitrox to my booking?
Yes, contact us and we can add it to your reservation.
Only available for morning Scuba Diving EcoAdventures.
If I dive, can I drive to Hilo or high elevation that same night?
No, we highly recommend waiting 18 hours or more before going to any elevation over 2000 ft.
What's the capacity for this charter?
16-20.
What is the ratio of certified divers to divemasters?
6 certified divers to 1 divemaster.
Is a lunch provided?
Yes, we will provide a sandwich of your choosing and assorted chips, cookies, iced water, and soft drinks. If you have special dietary needs, it is best to bring your own lunch.
What is the water temperature?
The average water temperature is around 76 °F and in the summer months can be up to 80°F.
